Camp Grayling has proposed to expand into roughly 162,000 acres of Public Land that is currently managed by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources. This would basically double the size of the Army National Guard Base. The Army National Guard is attempting to create a major training center in the Midwest and use our public lands to that purpose.
The Headwaters Chapter Trout Unlimited Board of Directors voted to oppose the expansion.
